Sometimes clearing cache is required. This is what different sections of OT Commerce documentation state.
Site’s cache is an aggregate of the most frequently used items: images, HTML templates, style sheets files (website’s design), results of data requests into site’s database (titles, descriptions, search results, etc.). Cache speeds up your website load when a customer visits your website every next time since the greater part of information was stored when he/she visited the site for the first time.
Сlearing cache will help in most cases if you modify something in admin area of your website or in catalog but these changes are not visible on website.
Сlick “Settings” button in the header of admin area to clear cache.
You will see “Clear cache” text and total size of files stored in cache in dropdown list that appears.
Click “Clear cache” text.
As a great deal of data is stored in cache, clearing cache is done step-by-step. That’s why messages in screenshots below may appear more than once (it depends on how often you clear cache). In some cases clearing cache might take a few minutes.
