This section focuses on how to set a limit on the number of emails to be sent simultaneously/per day.
Navigate to: Promotion > Electronic mailing lists > Settings in the administrative area of your website.
The number of emails
This setting specifies the number of outgoing emails to send through your mail server at a time.
Important!
A mail server has a limit to the amount of email you are allowed to send all at once. In order to avoid email delivery failure or other problems emails are divided into smaller groups to be sent at short intervals.
Click on the red dashed underlined text.
Next, you need to set the number of emails in the form that appears (It is recommended that you set a numerical value from 1 to 10).
Press the checkmark button to save the new setting.
A limit on the number of emails sent per day
In order to avoid server overloads and to prevent users from sending huge amounts of emails in a short period of time you can set daily sending limits of your mail server. To do this, click on the red dashed underlined text.
Set the number of emails in the form that appears (It is recommended that you set a numerical value from 100 to 10000).
Press the checkmark button to save the new setting.
