1. Download archive with plugin (follow "Download plugin" section) 

       2. Upload Download and extract archive into \wp-content\plugins\ folder. Unpack archive to ot-external subfolder. Double check that subfolder name is ot-external (without any other symbols).  

You can upload archive by the following ways:

• • manually by uploading plugin archive in .zip format through WordPress site admin panel in “Plugins” sectionuploading plugin directory to your hosting with to FTP of your hosting using any FTP client;
  • through hosting file manager by downloading uploading plugin archive;
  • manually by uploading plugin archive in .zip format through WordPress site admin panel in "Plugins" section.

       3. After unpacking archive, 3. Through hosting file manager or FTP client rename \wp-content\plugins\ot-external\config-example.php file to \wp-content\plugins\ot-external\config.php file.

       4. In \wp-content\plugins\ot-external\config.php file 4. Through hosting file manager or FTP client enter your OT API Key into define constant ('CFG_SERVICE_INSTANCEKEY', ' ') in \wp-content\plugins\ot-external\config.php file. Please note that you can receive an API Key after purchasing it according to set rates.

      5. Activate plugin in Wordpress admin panel in "Plugins" section:

     6. Enter admin panel of your WordPress website http://site-name/wp-admin/options-permalink.php. Click Scroll the page to the very bottom and click “Save Changes” button at the very bottom. You don't need to make any changes, you just need to press a button.. No changes required!

Как работает плагин

Плагин ОТ (WooCommerce для Wordpress с интеграцией ОТ АПИ Ключа) позволяет получать и отображать информацию о товарах популярных маркетплейсов на вашем WooCommerce сайте из базы данных OpenTrade Commerce по АПИ.

Плагин ОТ работает по принципу трансляции информации о товарах. Это означает, что все товары хранятся в базе данных OpenTrade Commerce. Информация о товарах передается в интернет-магазин WooCommerce по АПИ. 

Пользователь может добавить любой товар в «Корзину». В момент добавления товара в корзину он будет создан в базе данных интернет-магазина WooCommerce. На этом этапе работа плагина ОТ закачивается. Начинает работать бизнес-логика плагина WooCommerce для Wordpress, которая позволит пользователю сделать заказ. Плагин ОТ не принимает участия в формировании заказа, он необходим только для отображения и обновления информации о товарах.

How plugin works

OT plugin (WooCommerce for Wordpress with API Key OT integration) allows to get and display product information of popular marketplaces on your WooCommerce site from OpenTrade Commerce database by API.

OT plugin works on the principle of product information broadcasting. This means that all goods are stored in OpenTrade Commerce database. Information about goods is transferred to WooCommerce online store via API. 

User can add any product to the shopping cart. Product is added to WooCommerce database when client adds it to the cart. At this stage, OT plugin work is rolled up. Business logic of WooCommerce plugin for Wordpress starts working, which will allow user to place an order. OT plugin does not take part in order formation, it is only required to display and update product information.

OT plugin adds 3 pages to your WordPress site:

• Catalog - product categories of your API OT Key (for example, Каталог — это категории товаров вашего Ключа API OT.Например: https://woocommerce-plugin-demo.otcommerce.com/category-external/). Такой принцип работы позволяет решить следующие задачи:

1. Интернет-магазин Wordpress не рассчитан на хранение большого объема данных (больше 1 миллиарда товаров). Если все товары закачивать напрямую в интернет-магазин WordPress, это существенно снизит скорость и производительность сайта или приведет к полной остановке работы интернет-магазина. Плагин ОТ позволяет получать и отображать информацию о миллионах товаров популярных маркетплейсов в интернет-магазин WordPress без ущерба производительности сайта. Передача данных о товарах по АПИ не нагружает сайт, и он работает как обычно.
2. Хранение большого количества информации требует значительных затрат на сервера и их обслуживание. В нашей разработке вся информация хранится в базе данных ОТ, а вы платите только за совершённые вызовы, необходимые для получения нужной вам информации по товарам. Разъяснение по вызовам тут. 
3. Использование АПИ для получения информации о товарах позволяет показывать покупателям только те товары, которые они ищут и хотят купить. Таким образом, вы будете платить не за все товары сразу, а только за те, которые вам нужны. Это позволит оптимизировать ваши расходы и сократить издержки.
4. Поиск товаров по АПИ работает значительно быстрее, чем по базе данных большого количества товаров.

Особенности работы плагина 

Работа с корзиной

Товары создаются в корзине по принципам:

1. Каждая конфигурация — это новый товар (например, платье красное и синее с одной карточки товара будут отображаться как 2 товара: красное платье и синее платье). Это сделано потому, что товары по цене могут различаться и иметь разный остаток.
2. Если добавить снова товар, который уже есть в корзине, это будет 2 отдельных товара. Это помогает при работе с провайдером 1688, где есть ограничение на минимальное количество товаров, и цена будет разная. Кроме того, это особенность работы системы с трансляцией товаров. 
3. Если товар добавлен сегодня, но оформлен в другой день или неделю, то цена скорее всего будет устаревшая. Однако этому есть решение. Смотрите «Обновление цены и остатков».
4. После заказа нельзя отставить отзыв о товаре, так как товары не хранятся в базе данных интернет-магазина WordPress.

Обновление цены и остатков

Чтобы продать товар по актуальной цене (или предложить аналог, если товар у продавца закончился), есть специальная кнопка в детализации каждого заказа.

1. Wordpress online store is not designed to store a large amount of data (more than 1 billion products). 3. Using API to get product information allows customers to see only the products they are looking for and want to buy. This way, you won't pay for all products at once, but only for required ones. This will optimize and reduce your costs.
4. Goods search by API works much faster than by huge product database.

Plugin work features 

Working with shopping cart

Goods are added to the shopping cart according to the following principles:

1. Each configuration is a new product (for example, red and blue dress from one product card will be displayed as 2 products: red dress and blue dress). This is done because goods by price can be different and have different balance.
2. If you add again an item that has already been added to the cart, you will have 2 separate items. This helps when working with provider 1688 with a limit on items minimum number and different prices which depend on items number. In addition, this is a feature of system's work with the broadcast of goods. 
3. If a product is added today, but it was issued on another day or week, price will most likely be outdated. However, there is a solution to this. See "Updating price and balances" section.
4. It's not possible to leave product review after ordering, as products are not stored in WordPress online store database.

Updating price and balances

There is a special button in details of each order to sell item at current price (or offer an analog if seller has run out of item).

В первую очередь чтобы настроить свой ключ, необходимо войти в админку.

Log into admin panel to configure OT API Key.

Currency

Go to OT Key admin panel to Pricing → Currency section to specify currency for goods prices.

Choose currency from the list on the right.

It's necessary to select language in OT Key admin in Configuration → Languages → Multilanguage in the column on the right. Translations will be in the first language from the list for buyers on WooCommerce site.
